WEDDING BLOGS

I just thought I would share some images from the wedding of David & Manny which took place on Saturday at Emirates Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. It was such a lovely day and the sun was beaming in the sky. Gunwharf Quays is the home of The Spinnaker Tower and it is the perfect location to hold a wedding. Especially for David & Manny as Manny’s family were coming over especially for the wedding.

Just to give you a little taster of what we got up to on the day, I’ve put together a selection of my favourite images and I think you will agree, the gents look great!

I would just like to say a huge thank you to both David & Manny for letting me be a part of your special day. We had a great laugh on the day and it was so nice to spend it with your friends and family. I just like to say a huge congratulations to you both and its clear from spending time with you, that the love you have for each other will be everlasting. Here’s to many years of happiness together and may your love grow and grow.

Together, Forever, Believe & Achieve

I first met Katie & Harry back in March 2018 and boy the time has flied by. We first met at The Queens Hotel for their engagement shoot and this is where they choose to hold their wedding reception. It was also where Katie planned to do her preparation before heading off to The Square Tower in Old Portsmouth for the ceremony.

I started the day with the girls in the newly refurbished suite at The Queens Hotel, which I must say is just perfect for the perfect wedding morning full of preparation and fun filled antics. Katie was surrounded by her favourite people and her 4 bridesmaids. Hair was being done by Kerry Till - Kerry Till Hairdressing & Tina Lyons Tina’s Mobile Hair Dressing and Make Up by Kim Kingston from The Beauty Shed. These ladies are some of the finest in the business and I would highly recommend them all if you are currently planning your special day.

Anyway thats enough of me babbling on! Here are some images I captured in the morning of the girls getting ready…

Harry was having a nice chilled morning and was planning on getting to The Square Tower a little early for me to capture some nice images of him and his best man Keith. Here’s a few of the gents looking rather dapper…

Meanwhile back at the Hotel the girls were in their final stages of preparation and it was nearly time for Katie to be getting into her dress. Her dress was from Wed 2 Be - Southampton and was just absolutely stunning. Here are some images I captured of the girls and their final steps before heading off to The Square Tower…. Oh plus a few from The Square Tower too….

I would just like to take this moment to say a huge thank you to both Katie & Harry. I really did have a great day capturing your wedding and I think you’ll agree it really was special. Here’s to many years of happiness and may your love grow stronger for each other every day.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to all of their guests, both friends and family. We all had a great laugh on the day and it was a absolute pleasure to share it with you all. Before you go though, here are loads of images for your viewing pleasure and if you are in the process of planning your special day, give me a shout.

Lots of love

Chris

Together, Forever, Believe & Achieve

Ladies and gentlemen, presenting the new Mr & Mrs Osuch! I first met Emma & Russell last August to chat about their big day. They planned to hold their wedding at The Potters Heron in Romsey and it was going to be very special. I started the day with Emma and her team of bridesmaids, who I must say were a lively bunch to say the least. Emma was having her hair and make up done by Karen Clarke Wedding Hair, who I’ve had the pleasure of working with on a few occasions and would highly recommend for both wedding hair & make up.

Emma’s dress was from Always & Forever Bridal and was beautifully elegant with stunning beaded detail. Here are some images I captured in the morning of Emma’s preparation before it was time to meet up with the gents…

Lucky for me, Russell was arriving at the hotel to get ready, so it was only a short journey down the corridor and up the stairs to meet up with him. Its always good to see a few nerves in the air and a beaming smile as you walk through the door. There was no exception on this special day and it was a pleasure to see Russell looking so happy to marry his future wife.

Here are a few images I captured of Russell as he made his final preparations, before taking his final steps to becoming part of his TFBA Team! For those of you that don’t follow my blogs, this means Together, Forever, Believe and Achieve. As we all know relationships are difficult and can be incredibly testing. But if you can work as a team to overcome the lows and embrace the highs, you’ll survive forever. From the moment I met up with Emma & Russell, it was clear the love they had for each other and today was the day they were going to create the perfect family unit.

Straight back to the girls and by this point it was time for Emma to start getting into her dress. This is when the real nerves start to kick in and also the panic starts to heighten. I had already been informed that Emma was renowned for being late and today she was not going to break the norm. Luckily it wasn’t too late, but hey, its good to keep a man waiting!

Here are some images of our stunning bride, before she made her final steps to becoming the new Mrs Osuch…

I would just like to take this time to say a huge thank you to both Emma & Russell, for choosing me to be a part of their special day and intrusting me with the job of documenting it. I had a great day and good fun with you guys and I think its fair to say, we captured some beautiful images.

I would also just like to say a huge thank you to all of their friends and family for making my job so easy on the day. Its always great to have a bit of banter flying around and it makes my job so much easier. If you are currently planning your special day, don’t hesitate to give me a shout!

Before we go though, here are a few more images of the lovely couple. Hope you like…

Lots of love

Chris

Together, Forever, Believe & Achieve

I just wanted to share some images from a recent engagement/tester shoot I had with Dave & Manny, who are getting married next month. As with all my couples that I work with, I offer a free engagement shoot/tester shoot so that they can get to know my style of work and me as a photographer. It’s also a great opportunity for me to get to know them as a couple. Its key within wedding photography that you understand your couples on a personal level as well as a professional. You need to know what makes them smile, laugh, nervous, relaxed etc to get the most from the time you have with them.

Dave & Manny are the perfect couple to photograph because they are so natural around each other and you can really see the love they share for each other within their images. I am so excited to be a part of their special day and to document all the smiles, laughs and happy tears. I think you will agree that the images we captured on the shoot really show off the bond they have.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to Dave & Manny for choosing me to be their wedding photographer and I can’t wait to create some stunning images from your big day. Bring on the 6th April!
