I first met todays lovely couple through a mutual friend, who had recommended me to the guys as they were originally not having a professional photographer for their special day, but it was something they were considering. Let me introduce the gorgeous Mr & Mrs Grayland-Leech, Josie & Matt. The guys had planned for their special day to be held in their home town of Winchester and near to the original spot where Matt first dropped to his knee to propose to his soon to be bride at Winchester Cathedral.

We started the day with Josie and her fabulous bridesmaids at the Grayland-Leech family home which was only a short distance from the Winchester Registry Office where the ceremony was to be held. The morning was a very calm affair and everyone was chilled but it wasn’t long before the so called storm arrived, after the calmness. Here are a few images I captured of Josie’s preparation in the morning…

I just wanted to quickly break away from the girls and show you some images I captured of Matt when he arrived at the registry office, looking very dapper and very sharp. Its one of my favourite parts of the day as I get to witness all the nerves starting to appear, but in Matt’s case he was keeping things very chilled. Check out these…

So now its time to unveil the images I captured in the final stages of Josie’s preparation. As friends and family started to arrive to give their well wishes, the nerves were in full swing and to put it in the nicest way possible…. All hell started to break loose as time started to catch up on us. Here are some absolutely stunning images I captured before Josie took her final steps towards becoming the new Mrs Grayland-Leech…

This is the point in their blog where I would just like to say a huge thank you to both Josie & Matt for letting me be such a huge part of their special day. It really was a stunning day and so much fun, you guys are a great laugh.  Also a big thank you to Kate for introducing me to the lovely couple as without people like you my business wouldn't thrive as it does.

Before you all go thou, there’s load of images below for your viewing pleasure. After the ceremony we headed down to the Cathedral, which makes the perfect backdrop for our little portrait shoot as I’m sure you’ll agree.

Guys, you are amazing and I really had a great time photographing you both and of course your wonderful friends and family. You have created the most amazing little family and here’s to many years of happiness and I wish you all the best for the future and all it holds as the new Mr & Mrs Grayland-Leech.

Lots of love

Let me introduce the lovely new Mr & Mrs Randall! Today was such a special day for the guys as it was something that they originally had planned to hold in a few years time but due to personal circumstances, they had brought the day forward. They planned the day to be held as soon as possible and it really was a absolute pleasure to be a part of and the huge job was on my shoulders to document it.

Due to the timescale of the event and it being brought forward, it was down to local businesses to help this day go ahead. Darren & Lisa were overwhelmed with the generosity that stepped up from businesses near and far to help their special day go ahead. Everything from the dress, suits, hair & make-up, cake, venue, cars, food, DJ and everyone that worked so hard on the day, its down to the kind hearts of such generous people out there that makes me so proud to be a part of such a fantastic industry and wonderful town which is Portsmouth.

Darren had recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer so this day was extra special to so many people, especially the lovely couple. They had planned the day to be held at Havant Registry Office, which was a new venue for me and is a stunning example of 21st Century modern architecture which gave me a whole lease of creativity to explore. We started the morning at Lisa & Darren’s family home in Southsea, where the preparation began…

So it was time for Lisa to take her final steps as Miss Cammerer and become the new Mrs Randall. Here are a few images I captured of Lisa as the nerves started to show but the dress helped hide keep them at bay…

I had just enough time for a quick little portrait shoot with Darren before he tied the knot with his stunning bride. Check these out…

After the ceremony and a quick shoot around the grounds with the new Mr & Mrs Randall, we headed down to The Milton Arms in Portsmouth to get the real party started and celebrate this beautiful occasion.

I just want to say a huge thank you to both Darren & Lisa. You truly are such a gorgeous couple and the love you both have for each other was infectious. I was so honoured to be a part of your day and as you can all see from the images, it was just amazing and full of so many different emotions.

They say true love lasts forever and I really do believe that the love you have for each other will never fade. But before you all go, check out the images below, I think you’ll agree…what a wonderful day!

Lots of love

What a lovely day spent with Abey & Luke to celebrate their marriage. It was set at the stunning venue The Green House in Bournemouth and what a day they had planned for their guests. With a beautiful colour arrangement of Vintage roses and blush pink dresses for the bridesmaids, the detailing throughout was just perfect.

I’d just like to say a huge congratulations to the lovely couple and what a beautiful couple you make. You both have the most captivating smiles and the day was so lovely and such a honour to be a part of.

Together, Forever, Believe & Achieve

It was the first wedding for us around the Christmas period and it was going to be a event to remember. It was time for Emma & Paul to tie the knot and become the new Mr & Mrs McDonald. They planned there day down to a T and the year had been a eventful one for them and boy have they crammed a lot in. New house, getting married but most precious to them was the arrival of their little boy Joshua. What a handsome little one and the star of the day!

Anyway back to our lovely couple. They had planned for their day to be held at Marwell Hotel which is next to Marwell Zoo and is just stunning with its Safari lodge style decor and surroundings. We started the day with Emma at the hotel, the day was a beautiful Autumn day and the weather was onside. Leaves were falling and I knew we’d be able to capture some stunning images. Here are a few with Emma and her morning preparation….

Paul was planning to get to the hotel a bit nearing the ceremony and we grabbed him as he arrived with his brother. He was left in charge of making sure little Joshua was ready and in his little suit. All was going to plan and here are a few images we captured of Paul & Jamie…

Back to Emma and by this point in the day she was planning to get into her dress. Her bridesmaid Kelly & Tara were looking lovely in their vibrant red dresses and it was time for the lovely bride to get into hers. Here are some images we captured of Emma and her final moments before she took those steps to becoming the new Mrs McDonald. Our favourite part of the day, watching all those nerves and excitement become emotion for everyone…

This is the point where Ami and I would like to say a huge thank you to Emma, Paul & Joshua for letting us be such a huge part of their special day. You guys are such a amazing couple and with your new addition in Joshua, it completes you and you have the perfect little family.

Along with all your friends and family, we would just like to say a huge congratulations and here’s to many years of happiness together.

For the viewers/readers out there… If you are currently planning your special day and like what you see, then drop us a message. We would love to be a part of your special day! But before you go, there are loads of images below for your viewing pleasure.

Lots of love
