WEDDING BLOGS

Let me introduce the lovely new Mr & Mrs Randall! Today was such a special day for the guys as it was something that they originally had planned to hold in a few years time but due to personal circumstances, they had brought the day forward. They planned the day to be held as soon as possible and it really was a absolute pleasure to be a part of and the huge job was on my shoulders to document it.

Due to the timescale of the event and it being brought forward, it was down to local businesses to help this day go ahead. Darren & Lisa were overwhelmed with the generosity that stepped up from businesses near and far to help their special day go ahead. Everything from the dress, suits, hair & make-up, cake, venue, cars, food, DJ and everyone that worked so hard on the day, its down to the kind hearts of such generous people out there that makes me so proud to be a part of such a fantastic industry and wonderful town which is Portsmouth.

Darren had recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer so this day was extra special to so many people, especially the lovely couple. They had planned the day to be held at Havant Registry Office, which was a new venue for me and is a stunning example of 21st Century modern architecture which gave me a whole lease of creativity to explore. We started the morning at Lisa & Darren’s family home in Southsea, where the preparation began…

So it was time for Lisa to take her final steps as Miss Cammerer and become the new Mrs Randall. Here are a few images I captured of Lisa as the nerves started to show but the dress helped hide keep them at bay…

I had just enough time for a quick little portrait shoot with Darren before he tied the knot with his stunning bride. Check these out…

After the ceremony and a quick shoot around the grounds with the new Mr & Mrs Randall, we headed down to The Milton Arms in Portsmouth to get the real party started and celebrate this beautiful occasion.

I just want to say a huge thank you to both Darren & Lisa. You truly are such a gorgeous couple and the love you both have for each other was infectious. I was so honoured to be a part of your day and as you can all see from the images, it was just amazing and full of so many different emotions.

They say true love lasts forever and I really do believe that the love you have for each other will never fade. But before you all go, check out the images below, I think you’ll agree…what a wonderful day!

Lots of love

Chris

Together, Forever, Believe & Achieve

It was the first wedding for us around the Christmas period and it was going to be a event to remember. It was time for Emma & Paul to tie the knot and become the new Mr & Mrs McDonald. They planned there day down to a T and the year had been a eventful one for them and boy have they crammed a lot in. New house, getting married but most precious to them was the arrival of their little boy Joshua. What a handsome little one and the star of the day!

Anyway back to our lovely couple. They had planned for their day to be held at Marwell Hotel which is next to Marwell Zoo and is just stunning with its Safari lodge style decor and surroundings. We started the day with Emma at the hotel, the day was a beautiful Autumn day and the weather was onside. Leaves were falling and I knew we’d be able to capture some stunning images. Here are a few with Emma and her morning preparation….

Paul was planning to get to the hotel a bit nearing the ceremony and we grabbed him as he arrived with his brother. He was left in charge of making sure little Joshua was ready and in his little suit. All was going to plan and here are a few images we captured of Paul & Jamie…

Back to Emma and by this point in the day she was planning to get into her dress. Her bridesmaid Kelly & Tara were looking lovely in their vibrant red dresses and it was time for the lovely bride to get into hers. Here are some images we captured of Emma and her final moments before she took those steps to becoming the new Mrs McDonald. Our favourite part of the day, watching all those nerves and excitement become emotion for everyone…

This is the point where Ami and I would like to say a huge thank you to Emma, Paul & Joshua for letting us be such a huge part of their special day. You guys are such a amazing couple and with your new addition in Joshua, it completes you and you have the perfect little family.

Along with all your friends and family, we would just like to say a huge congratulations and here’s to many years of happiness together.

For the viewers/readers out there… If you are currently planning your special day and like what you see, then drop us a message. We would love to be a part of your special day! But before you go, there are loads of images below for your viewing pleasure.

Lots of love

It was time for Natalie & Roddy’s big day and there was a long journey ahead. They planned for their wedding to be held at The Buchanan Arms in Loch Lomond which is just the most perfect back drop for a Scottish wedding. The weather was chilled and the leaves were starting to fall, Autumn was upon us.

I started the morning with Natalie and her bridesmaids at the hotel. By her side was her sister Tiffany, best friend Hanna and her mum Ann. The morning was quite a chilled affair and things were on time and schedule. Here are a few images we caught of Natalie and her morning preparation...

Lucky for me, Roddy was getting ready just down the hallway and was in full traditional Scottish wedding attire. This was to be my first wedding in Scotland and it was such a treat to see all the men dressed to impress. Here are a few images we captured of Roddy and his brother Nick who had been given the honourable role of bestman….

Straight back up to Natalie, who by this point was starting to think about the donning of the dress. This was going to have to be a joint effort from everyone when it came to the lacing of the back of the dress. The dress itself was absolutely stunning and Natalie looked like a princess.

A lot of people ask us how we get weddings in different locations. On this occasion it was purely down to friendship as Natalie and I went to Portsmouth Players together in our youth. I suppose that what makes my job so special, especially at times like this when you have the honour of capturing a good friends special day. Here are a few images of Natalie as she became the beautiful bride Roddy has been dreaming of…

This is the bit where I leave you guys to view loads more images from their special day. But before I go, I would just like to say a huge thank you to Natalie & Roderick for letting me be a part of their special day. Your day was absolutely stunning and you guys are just beautiful together.

Here’s what you’ve been waiting for thou, the grand finale when it comes to their images. If you are currently looking for a wedding photographer for your special day and like my style of photography, then please don’t hesitate to get in contact as I would love to be a part of your special day too.

Lots of love
