It was finally the day for Sammy & Jesse to tie the knot and what a day they had planned for their guests. Covid restrictions still apply but that definitely wasn’t going to dampen their love for each other and the fun factor of the day!
They had chosen to hold their special day at Cissbury Barns in Nepcote, Findon which is an absolutely stunning venue to hold a wedding. Set in the heart of the downs it is the perfect backdrop to spend your special day with friends and family.
On my team today was Kerry Potter who was taking the role of second shooter and covering all aspects of Jesse and the gents and their preparation. I had the pleasure of documenting Sammy’s preparation with her team of bridesmaids at their family home just down the road from the venue. I was also covering videography for the day which I can’t wait to show off in the very near future, so keep your eyes pealed for that.
So over to the girls and trust me when I say it was a lively morning packed full of smiles and laughter in the air. Sammy was having her make up done by one of her bridesmaids/besties, Stella (Dolly’s Make Up) who lucky for Sammy is a professional make up artist! Sammy’s hair was being done by Sammie from Your Event Stylist. I would definitely recommend Stella & Sammie if you are looking for the perfect team for your wedding day, they both offered a personal professional service and the morning run superbly, not to mention Sammy looked stunning!

So there were a few nerves in the air but it was time for Sammy to get into her dress. With plenty of time to spare Sammy enjoyed the little moments with her bridesmaids before heading off to the venue. I think you will agree, the dress from Whyte Weddings Bridal shop in Worthing was so elegant with beautiful lace detail throughout and a full length vail and train to give that wow factor.

What a beautiful ceremony, held outside in the beautiful woodland setting of Cissbury Barns. With the rolling hills of the Downs as a backdrop, it was the perfect setting for Sammy & Jesse to say I do.
I wanted to share a few images of Jesse & Sammy during their ceremony to showcase what an amazing couple they are and the love they share for each other surrounded by their special family and friends.
I just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to both Sammy & Jesse for letting me be a part of their special day. Both Kerry & I had such an amazing day and it was so lovely to spend it documenting the love you guys have for each other. Here is to many more years of happiness together and all the best for the future as the new Mr & Mrs Burgess.
